This is a good song! The production is fine but its not really my kinda music so I cant really comment too much. However, I can imagine that with the right show it would go down well live! Keep at it!Colm.

Hi Alan Powell. Nice groove in your song, I like it.I'm listening in my office at the moment, on pc-speakers.Here's my comments:Too long and unnecessary intro.Vocals are a little "secret" - I would suggest freshing it up with some hi eq, and also a harmonic distortion, like a tape simulator or something. Also, there's to much dynamics there, on the chorus. Try using one or two compressors in addition to what you're using now. Also, the vocals and guitars in the chorus is too sloppy timing-wise, I would suggest using an hour or two to nudge things a little tighter.Style wise, in my view this is a little bit modern, and lots of bits retro.I could work, although I would suggest toning down a little bit some of the retro-things and clean it up to make it sound more up to date, production-wise. That is, unless you're going for a retro-sound and that is your style.Hepha Luemp

OK. Got the link.First thing - I listened to this on low fi (not at my own PC). Second thing - I know nothing about this genre.Butthe guitar work is excellentthe vocals are great (really) but a little lost in the mix for me. Might be the low fi.it's too short.it hasn't developed a hook yet. No part that you're still humming 4 hrs later after you've got out of the taxi and realised she isn't coming home with you. Or whatever it is that you young guys realise. Not bad at all. Needs work.Liamwww.liamkellylive.com
