Great song! Love the energy!I agree with all the production comments above. Needs a little more space if leaning towards country.Other thoughts:"Trying to find some kind of peace of mind through all these mistakes" (phrasing awkward at end)"My headlights shine like diamonds up and down the highway" (do you see your own headlights? do you mean others?)"But I can’t seem to find myself or much of anything" (GREAT!)I like the chorus, but it is a little odd not ending with hook or at least a rhyme to it. Probably works though.I think verse 2 is the weaker of the two. I agree with Warren about pumping this thing up lyrically. I disagree with him (dangerous, I know) about swapping the verses. Would repeat the interstate line on successive phrases.In the second chorus, I'm confused by "Don't waste your time..." Who are you talking to? She is the audience of the song, right?I like the bridge and the resolve it brings to the story. You are determined not to come back.Again, great work. If you are willing to further refine, I think it has great potential. I also look forward to future posts from you.Derek
