Post by Silversun » Thu Feb 21, 2013 8:24 am

Hi y'all

Here's our latest offering for you guys to shred :) Were going for the organic pop type of thing. Hows the structure ? elements? anything really. Vocals are rough at mo especially.

Thanks as always.

Dude; I thoroughly LOVE this!! It''s got the 'it' factor. I would love to sing it... no disrespect to you. You sound great. It seems to be the pop side of singer/songwriter. or indie/ pop. Keep up what you're doing; it works for me. Peace, D.B.

I think the tune works. Nice!

seems like the mix could use some work (little dark in general, vocals lacking a little top, kick is a little over-present and has lots of click) more than anything but I understand if you are waiting to finalize the arrangement and so on before really diving in (and I say that based on the sound of this one compared to your other productions).

and I could hear Dave Bradley singing it too - especially in the bridge, some of the inflections reminded me of Dave's voice. seems like the range is about similar too.

my 2 cents.

Nice Job. I like the vocals on this track. I also like the vibe. Song is a little long for me, I find myself wondering off towards the end....but that may just be my short attention span....

Great job overall.

No disrepect taken and thanks ! Its not me singing , my teammate. Ill have a word about getting different vocal on it.

Cheers.Your right. I took an ear break and did a very quick brighten up/de click kik drum. As you say though...havent dived in yet.Been getting the track in shape.Lots more fiddlin to do once got proper vocals especially.

Really nice!
I have no problem with the lead vocal, but I agree; this is built for D.B.
Great work!-Rob

Hey Silver,
Cool song. I really like the vibe and melody. I like the title.
There might be a little too much cliche in the lyric .. for this genre/style. Hard to tell for sure without reading them.

Rob,
This was refreshing and Its sounds like it would go with ala Passion pit Indie pop
But the vocals hit home even in rough, the tone got my attention.
Well done
J.

Great pop song! The opening is a little jarring in its EQ, but then it all blends in just fine.... As stated before, the kick needs work. It almost sound like a close-miked low tom! But that's easily fixable.... Also drum-wise, there are no crashes at all in the mix. Not that it needs a lot of them, but maybe on some big downbeats etc.?

Good job!

Best,

Ern 8-) :)
