Don't mind at all. My guess is Avanquest's java menu is doing something to break this on mac's. If we can get all that out of the way with just a blank page, we can figure out what killing it as you slowly add the other elements back into place. Let me know when its up and I'll check it out.B

Wow Kel,I've been playing around with the players you've got embedded on your site. That's slick. I didn't realize you could point the player to multiple store sites. Very cool. Did you get the album on all those places with Tunecore? And then I tried the share feature, which allowed me to post your entire player on my myspace blog. REALLY COOL! I'm gonna put it on my facebook page to see where it sticks it.This is a done deal. ReverbNation it is.B

Hey, this is a fun post. It's fun to watch your process of developing your site unfold -- and I'm feeling nerdier by the minute! And I agree -- 2 sites is the way to go! ,Suz

Nerd Up!I've decided on a hosting site: http://www.bluehost.com/Ridiculous price with a lot of strong backing. Hit up there "hosting features" link and check out that list. Pay close attention to the multi-media section. It's all there.I'm also leaning heavily towards Wordpress as the backend. I've been lost in there site tonight and that definitely seems like the way to go. Seems easy to setup a simple site and has all the tools to grow it in any direction. Free! Open Source with a lot of support. And bluehost is completely integrated with word press at every level. Shouldn't ever have to move. One step closer.B

Revision, word press does not play nice with ReverbNation. It's not on their approved list of embedded flash players and it doesn't look like its gonna be anytime real soon. No longer a real option for the entire site. Might still work to power some of it. But not the music pages.Interesting article on how Judas Priest used ReverbNation to promote an album. Really shows the power of their service:http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... mID=96327B

I didn't list all yet... there are more stores...iTunes US Aust NZ Canada UK Japan... Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, GroupieTunes, Amazon mp3, Lala, Shockhound, Amie Street... phew! I should really list em out on my RvNt Player... to generate more sales...Also, did U know that on RvNtn, U can actually let Ppl invest and own part of Ur song... like a Share on the Stock Market... I haven't looked into that yet but definitely will look into that soon and perhaps let investors place their bets... heheh!I've just updated the players on my page with more songs and also added more subcategories/genres...The page still seems to download pretty fast... at least to me...So that's good news... I thinkhttp://www.kostar8.com/music2visual.html(U may have to refresh the page if U visited earlier)Kelps: I also managed to set up a twitter acct... and link it to RvbNtn... so that everything that I twat and twit on RvbNn... it reflects on my twatter acct! It's really convenient & efficient IMHO... especially when U want everyone to check out Ur new track or Ur chart position... I think it's a sweet way to spread music related & other data... check it out... man, there's so much to discover... what a gr8 time to be a musician!!!

New idea. Reverb Nation IS going to be the website. I've spent some time trying to build a graphic template "around" their widget. The idea is that the widget will power 90% of the functionality of the site: all of the music plays, links from each piece to either a blog or a store, collect email, push out news, everything they got to offer as a service. The right menu will be reserved for text and the menu, which I'd like to keep just as genres. Clicking a genre will reload a different configuration of the widget with just songs in those genres.I've got the widget set to autoplay the first song, so I'm going to "score" each page to set the mood as they poke around and oriented. This way I can update everything in ReverbNation and it will push out to facebook, twitter, myspace, blah, blah from one spot. What do you think? Think this will work? I've still got a lot of work on graphics, but this is the proof o' concept.http://www.bryanfusilier.comThis is going to be the business card site, so once I nail it all down, I'll move it over to shallowbog.com.bryanfusilier.com will be a completely different site, but I'll probably do something very similar with the music pages there also.B

Hey! Nice! The graphics really set the tone, and everything loads quickly. Nice tunes, too. I especially like "Hitchcocky" . . . I think this entire presentation is very effective, as it gets right to the heart of the matter, which is the music.Bravo!Suz

Thanks Suz! It's in the ballpark finally. Got to figure out a few more things with the widget and I think I'm gonna roll with something real close to this.B

Looks good, Bryan. I find the links (above the reel) to be rather small. I think the reel is great. There is no explanation as to what "Shallow Bog" is. I find that confusing. Is that your business name? I think you should have a short blurb on the homepage "Welcome to the site of composer Bryan Fusilier and Shallow Bog Productions. Credits include..."
