Hi Kathryn
I like this song a lot and you have a very nice :D voice a la Dido. I didn't find the storyline confusing, my impression is it's about your faith in God and that is clear. (If I'm wrong, then  )

With the right production I think it would do very well for film/TV. The lyrics could work it many contexts and can fall in the "universal lyrics" category. I could definitely hear this on many current TV shows.

You should be able to get lots of advice on production right here.

Best of luck! Good song!
:) Casey

Kathryn,
I woke up this morning singing this song in my head .. the chorus .. couldn't quite place it at first .. then it hit me where I'd heard it. That's a good sign.

Hi guys, thanks so much for your comments! Apologies for delay in replying. My 'other life' was being rather demanding :-)

Paul, thanks for the suggestion of changing the musical style of the bridge. You're right. I have rewritten the lyrics again after some chats with GL, and next time I record I will change up the bridge as well and post it again.

Casey: Thank you for your encouragement! Very much appreciated :-) I look forward to listening to your work.

Dean: I'm stoked that the melody was 'sticky' enough for you to remember it. I know sticky doesn't necessarily mean good - but I'm happy with sticky for now :-) Thanks for letting me know.

Happy writing everyone.
