novel excerpt gets honourable mention :)
My big news is I sent in a 25-page excerpt from my novel to the "2007 Summer Literary Seminars Fiction and Poetry Contests, in Affiliation with The Walrus magazine" (Fiction Judge: Douglas Coupland) and, although I didn't win, I was chosen as one of the 30 contest finalists in the fiction category. Kinda cool.
