Nice song!I really like the musical composition and the lyrics do a good job of keeping the listener hooked.2 lines i dont understand:"and your new boyfriend courtesy"Maybe I just dont get it but this line doesnt fit with the previous 2 lines."now is wearing my ring"I pretty much understand the meaning but is there a better way to bring the twist into the song? I think it could have a little more impact.Great demo of a good song. Only a couple things that stuck out to me.Matt

"and your new boyfriend courtesy"she is being really nice to all the fellas, if you know what I mean."now is wearing my ring" I like that line the most because I can be pretty sarcastic, YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I"M DOIN NOW BABY!I"LL TELL YA "NOW IS WEARING MY RING".

Overall this is a great song. I didn't understand the same two lines that Matt pointed out, other than I thought it was a great idea. Nice Job!

I think I'll keep those lines. I have had a lot of complements on those lines. I's just a good way of letting the listener know that there's a little sarcasm there and he is moving on. After listening to the song the people that I let listen to it liked those lines. I don't mean to be hard headed but I'll need some more convincing.

Nice tune, and there's nothing wrong with a little artistic integrity and keeping the 2 confusing lines (They lost me as well) it does limit your chance of getting this forwarded. I have found that if you can get a song through this Peer Group you will have a better chance of moving it forward, if you can't get it past this group it will languish in the [R] column, as many of mine do I was surprised how the lyrics progressed, I was expecting a love song based on the first verse so you have imparted a nice twist, and another twist at the end- however the end did not catch me as much as the first- I was more or less expecting it. I won't spend any time on the production as it's studio guys and done very professionally ( and I doubt you want to pay them twice anyways)Submit this a few times and get some reviewer feedback and see where it goes. You may want to find a way to clean it up considering the amount of background noise may get it rejected on its ownGood work and I look forward to hearing more.

I'm kinda confused because this forum is the only place I have had people tell me they don't understand what those "2 confusing lines"are saying. When you put it in perspective with these lines "Oh now I'm feeling stronger All the time, And now is a real good friend of mine" it makes sense. "Now", back then was heart ache & lonesomeness, But "Now" now is feeling stronger and now is the new love in his life and she is wearing his ring.
