You dun good!! If you never told me it was cut and presented the song, I would have said the poker/cards thing has been used a million times and most A&R folks would turn it off right away-- nothing new and special. Lines like "the cards are dealt", "told the dealer to hit me twice", etc. could be show-stoppers from what I've seen such as observing the recent panel in Nashville. But that shows you what I know!!! All that matters now for the song is the success of the act that recorded it. I hope they sell a zillion CDs!!! Best of luck! Casey
