Hi, Just wanted to wish all of you here at TAXI a HAPPY NEW YEAR and ALL THE BEST FOR 2007. As many of you may know, I started my own online production service for Indie Artists last November, and I`ve been getting a tremedous response. A side from the mastering jobs I`ve been receiving, I`ve also been offered to do an interview by the legendary sound engineer Shelly Yakus (The Band, Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Patty Smith, U2, etc), as well as a front page interview and a column giving tips on production for a new online magazine which is sponsored by a major company that advertises online. They`re claiming that 450,000 will view this magazine in the months to come, so that`ll be major promotion.I`ll post more info on this when the interviews are up and running. Meanwhile, if you need mastering, mixing, drumming, programming, or full production work done, please check out my siteat; www.online-mixing-and-mastering.comAll the best,DICARLO

And yeah, after over 2,300 reviews at Mixposure telling me how good my productions are, I decided it was time to make my own production business to help other Indie Artists online. My work is better than most of the Top Mastering companies online, but my prices are 1/4 of their prices. Thanks for ALL your support. You´ve always been one of my main supporters, and I really appreciate that. Congrats on the IOMA Awards and ALL the other good things that are happening for you. Peace,D

Hi Everyone, Haven´t been here in a while. I´ve been quite busy with my Online Mixing and Mastering business. But, I just received the latest Taxi Newsletter talking about "How good should your demos be", and thought it might be a good idea to post here, for anyone needing production services. I´ve also recently updated my OMM page on My Space. Check it out, and tell me what you think. www.myspace.com/onlinemixingandmasteringcomCheck out my blogs while you´re there. Lots of new things happening. I hope you´re all doing well, and wish you a great week. Peace, DICARLO

Hi Everyone, I´ve been away for the last 1 1/2 months down in Zurich, Switzerland working on a CD project for a young group of kids that´s being sponsored by the state. I also did some gigs with a guy named Larry Woodley, that will also be releasing a CD, and has some major sponsors behind him as well. All in all I had a great time, and will most probably be spending a lot more time down there in the near future. Just before I left for Zurich, I completed the mastering of a CD for a guy named Bruno from Belgium, that goes under the artist name Yoyoman over at www.projectoverseer.biz He´s doing what he calls Aviation Music, which has a lot of orchestral sounds, along with original airplane recordings. These sounds were very expensive to acquire, and he was very worried that mastering would effect the sounds. I assured him that that wouldn´t happen, but he was quite worried in the beginning. In the end, he was very impressed with my work, and couldn´t believe how much wider, bigger, and clearer everything sounded. This was quite a different style for me, and I really enjoyed the classical orchestra arrangements with the original airplane sounds. I would recommend this CD to anyone that enjoys this type of thing. I don´t know the title as of yet, but he will be selling it at CD Baby, and he goes under the name Yoyoman. Also, I joined the Musicians Junction here at Taxi several months ago. Up until now, I´ve just received offers to produce projects from people with no legit email address. Basically just spam. I wondered if anyone else has had any of these experiences with Musicians Junction? If so, please let me know. I hope you´re all enjoying the summer. It finally got hot here in Berlin the last few days, and the temperature has been in the 90´s. LOLAnyway, have a great summer. Peace, DICARLO
