On Halloween

Post by hummingbird » Wed Oct 31, 2007 10:52 am

Light-hearted, comical, campy, and fun is what I'm shooting for, with 'over the top' creepy music and 'scary' vocals. Got the music as well, but nothing recorded yet. There'll be some listings in the spring looking for Halloween music, I'm sure. I believe I commented on this a while back on another site, Vikki ... as I said before, I like it but the "orc band" still throws me (although you have explained the meaning and I know it fits in). Not sure this is exactly the same as before or if you have made any changes. I don't believe I have heard it with music but I would like to ... I'm sure you have appropriate haunting-type music befitting the great visuals you have provided! Mary Lou

I gave it a quick read and liked it a lot, I found a nice rythm to the words as I read ... except for ORC BAND. I don't have a clue what that is. See Mary Lou doesn't either. Funny SPECTERS did not bother me much on the first read, but I don't know what that is either. (maybe I have a vague idea that i've heard it before or it sounds halloweeny anyway)Maybe you are going for too much in that verse. Maybe keep it simple so everyone understands. Maybe it is just me who is dense .. lolDean
