One More King of Hill Song

Post by suzdoyle » Mon Sep 08, 2008 6:08 pm

Here's another King of the Hill submission. I submitted a scratch vocal version today, just to meet the deadline; now that we put in the real vocals and replaced the draft one, I hope *this* version is the one that is actually listened to!A bit on the wild side, but oodles of fun to put together!(Zing Zang Zoom; Afri-scat vocals by Craig Farrell.)http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueIt's been fun diving into to the avalanche of fun King o the hill songs with all of you this week!Suz

Sounds great. I do note, though, that the listing says, "only instrumentals, please!"

Thanks, Vikki, for giving a listen and for your comment.I was going for voice as an instrument, rather than as a "word" making kind of thing.Mostly, I just thought it would be fun to try something a bit left of center . . . ,Suz

Hello Suz:I really like your submission, and I think the use of vocals as an instrument is a great idea . Maybe that will make your song stand-out and get forwarded. Of course Hummingbird has a point, but if it does get a forward, I believe your left-of-center approach has helped you read between the lines of the listing .Good LuckSteve

Since you've got at least one other one, that's the good thing about these submissions. Throw out a couple of good candidates for the pitch and see what happens. Good luck!Dave

I like it! Wacky and off center and appropriate for the listing, IMO!Good luck!Mazz
