to whom it may concern, I'm new to taxi and i would like to get to know people ,not just here at taxi but in the musicians world in and out of taxi, could somebody tell me where every one is swinging at in new York, the open Mic's,studios,and other places where people in the new York scene are rehearsing and getting together, i am a determined individual who would like to learn and do new things and places ,(clubs ,studios,etc) i want to watch listen and learn from you guys, so i can incorporate what i hear and experience into my arsenal, i don't have a problem with audiences, I'm not shy , what I'm saying is I'm always a student and this is a life time journey , i would like to share my love of music with the world ,one day ,one place at a time, i know theres more to learn , i have the determination and will to grasp it , i don't have a lot of money, i have heart and want to learn all i can, teach me thank you!,and thanks for the first lesson, contact me by email let me know who is available and when thank you

Hey Sax, Hook up with the Songwriters Guild, They have a pro shop every Weds. Evening. I went there for years. They'll be writers and performers who will tell what's going on. Red lion on Bleeker after wards always had a good Blues Jam session till the wee hours.Have fun!Dave
