Re: Open The Sky (Brand New Song)
Thanks Heckxx. I was wondering what happened to you. It is good to hear from you again. I am going to add some electric guitars to the chorus to lift it up even more. Also, my brother informed me yesterday that I mixed the chorus wrong. The backing vocals should be up front and the high lead vocal is supposed to be in the background. I am going to remix the song soon. Maybe these two things will lift it to a new level. Hopefully I won't make it worse.

Re: Open The Sky (Brand New Song)
Great song guys,
I'm with Magne on this - I think you've got to build up a real drum bed here a la Owl City (?). A mix of real and electronic is the go. If you do go guitars, use them more as a precusive instrument to accent the beat, as opposed to filling out the track.
Then puch up the bottom end with a cool bass line - synth/E.bass blend.
Just a quick 2c
Cheers,
Scott
