ORCHESTRAL ACTION INSTRUMENTAL COMPOSERS

Post by rld » Fri Feb 06, 2009 6:33 pm

Got a forward for this. Montage of a few pieces...not a guitar to be found. Orchestral SampleORCHESTRAL ACTION INSTRUMENTAL COMPOSERS are sought by an established Film Composer who is joining forces with a well-known/veteran Music Supervisor to create a production music catalog for Film and TV. They are not looking to license tracks but are hoping to find talent that they can commission new work from. They are looking to collaborate with composers who have excellent programming skills, the newest sample libraries and a commanding knowledge of their own sounds and techniques to the point where they can turn around a complex assignment quickly. IMPORTANT: For this particular listing, they want to hear examples of high impact orchestral action cues which may be mixed with percussion and choir. You can submit the action cues as a montage not to exceed 5 minutes in length.

Hey Now RLD,I'm very impressed! This is definitely film music. Beyond just capturing the feel of cinema music, the music itself is very mature. Nice control of your orchestral samples. These are the goods for sure. Good luck with whatever comes out of this.B

CONGRATS! Awesome piece with a lot of surprises! The intro sounded a bit like Farscape, so I can definitely picture this in a movie, or in a Trailer as well!

Congratulations! You are a wonderful orchestral composer. I hope this leads to a deal! I especially enjoy the music at about 2:20-2:43. Very nice. (and I like how you at some spots pan something from one side to the other. Makes for a very cool effect)
