Hey Douglas, I always love checking out your work. You tend to post for a lot of the same listings I try to write for, and your music always sounds great! This is a new genre for me as well, so I don't feel I have any insight to offer. I will say that at the 45 second mark, I was expecting to hear a little more variance from the melody. I think you could keep the same vibe throughout the piece while still developing the melody a bit more. Take that for whatever it's worth.

I also wanted to pass this along. I stumbled across this entry on the forum from Steve Barden, and I found it informative. It's a few years old, but I hope still helpful.

Hi Brent! I really appreciate the feedback and was honestly thinking the same thing about the melody. I will see about varying it a bit for the second half since there's still time before the deadline. Thanks for the link as well -- I'm brand new to that style so will definitely check it out! I have just started Steve Barden's book on writing for TV -- he does amazing work.

Thanks again!
Doug
