ORCHESTRAL/DRAMATIC Forward too!

Post by marcblack30 » Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:00 am

This is my first attempt at composing something like this, don't know if i could do many of these, it sure wasn't easy! Here is the tune "Theatrical Debut":http://marcblackwellmusic.com/marc_mp3/ ... aster).mp3(looks like you'll have to copy /paste into browser)The listing:ORCHESTRAL/DRAMATIC INSTRUMENTALS for Film Trailers and various Film/TV placements are wanted by a very successful Production Music Library who has placements with ABC, CBS, NBC, WB, Disney, Discovery, Lifetime, Fox, USA, etc. (to name just a few). They need to hear real instruments or EXTREMELY convincing MIDI tracks. In the words of the Music Director, "We shun bad MIDI like a plague...". Be sure that you send in arrangements and performances that sound authentic and fantastic! They want every track to have a succinct and natural ending - no abrupt cut-offs or fades. There are no specific edits required for this one, but be sure each piece is 1-3 minutes in length - you'll also want to be sure you have the ability to quickly turn around edited segments upon request, should the company contact you. They like to hear a lot of movement in the pieces, with dramatic/suspenseful variation and build. Broadcast quality is necessary, though excellent home recordings should be fine.
