ORIGINAL, CHRISTMAS INSTRUMENTALS CUES are needed by the President of a Music Library that’s placed tons of music for TAXI members. Please send Mid-To-Up-Tempo Instrumentals Cues in the stylistic ballpark of the references below: “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXQViqx6GMY “Jingle Bell Rock” by Glee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfLf7A_-1Vw “Wrapped In Red” by Kelly Clarkson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IFfZRVRbqM Although the references above have vocals, this pitch is for instrumentals only. Please submit original, festive, Instrumental Cues that delivers a Christmas sound, style and tone. Your submission should have a top-notch production and can include instruments you’d find in most Christmas music such as (but not limited too): strings (not an absolute must have), sleigh bells, hand bells, chimes, etc. Build your Cue around a cheerful central melodic motif, while adding and subtracting layers of instrumentation as your Cue progresses. You can go with relatively simple, stripped-down arrangements, or more full-blown arrangements/productions. Please avoid sending Instrumental Cues that are stiff, synthetic, and obviously MIDI-driven. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Non-Faded/Buttoned endings with a natural ring out will work best. Do not copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use the references only as general guide for overall feel, texture and tone. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). This Company offers an EXCLUSIVE deal with a reversion clause. If they don’t get your music placed during a five-year period, all rights revert back to you. You’ll keep 100% of the Writer's share, 50% of any sync fees, and any applicable performance royalties. The Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share and 50% of any sync fees. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure any material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed to any other Libraries or Catalogs. You must own or control your Master and Copyright to submit for this. Please submit as many Instrumentals Cues as you’d like online or per CD.
