outside of Taxi forward

Post by hummingbird » Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:02 am

Just heard from a small little indie publisher who I met through Taxi & now have a relationship with, that one of my wierd scarey pieces was actually played (among 44 others) for the music supervisor of a documentary on witchcraft. Several pieces were chosen to be played for the producer. We don't know if mine was one, but at least it got a play! The Covenhttp://www.broadjam.com/player/playerhosting.a ... 360552Okay... this is a very nice ending to my got-three-returns-week

I remember listening to this (I can't stream stuff here at work) and thinking this is one of your best pieces to date. I may have mentioned it but if I didn't, I'm going on record here right now.Excellent news!Mazz

I'd be surprised if it wasn't one of the several chosen.

First, congrats on the listening. Nice work!Second, is TAXI okay with us establishing relationships with publishing entities to which they forward our music? I had a recent forward to a music house, and I'd like to follow up with them. However, I don't want to look bad because I'm knocking on the door that TAXI opened for me...Insight? Examples?Seven
