good adivce all, luckily i never used them...also stay clear of Hilltop in LA, or anyone who says they love your song that you sent from THEIR inquiry that sounded too good to be true. Taxi told me (i got gobs of crap after the last rally...) to just look them up in the Better Business Bureau in LA (or the town they hail from), and that was GREAT advice....in my cases, two of the LA co's. had "F" ratings. that should say it.the best,wh

I have purchased 2 demos from them. They take a long time to get it done. They are overpriced and don't do a great job. I won 3rd prize and got one demo for free. They claim to market your material but I doubt it. Was sent a list of public domain info when I purchased a demo.

To give you an idea this demo from Paramount cost a little over $300.00. It took almost five months to get done and you can tell they are using a drum machine. http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ueContrast it with this one from Holston Valley music which cost $150.00, took about five weeks to get done and uses live intruments. http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueYou might also like to know that Paramount claims to market your material but they only send you a sheet with public domain information that you send off to yourself. They also own the music half of your song. With others, including Holston, you own full rights. So if you do the marketing here on taxi and it becomes a hit, you get paid for the music and lyrics. I have ordered 6 songs from Holston and will place another order next week for another 3. I'd stay away from Paramount. Only good for ego stroking and wishful thinking. Everything I ever submitted won a directors award.

It's a shame about the drums on the first one because the song is really good, it's got lots and lots of potential and the singer's great!I love the second one,It's great to hear a bit of Trad Country after all the pop country on offer nowadays.
