I'm pretty sure this is a good song. (I will accept your cruelest feedback if not. )But how would you pitch this song? What kind of sound does it have? What kind of sound might fit it better?Emotionally what does it do for you?http://myspace.com/dragonflylanding/Song Title: NYC (2nd on the playlist)Thanks,--Nicholas

As before really, but I have a little extra to add.I only listened to it once, and I found the lyrics confusing. I think they should grab you as much as the music, and the music didn't grab me either. That's the reason why I listened to it only once. With better production and an arrangement of assorted instruments, it might pull the attention a bit more, but this sounds like a rough cut.Once that is done, then you need to pay attention to the lyrics.4 types. Those that love words. Those that love music. Those that love both. Those that hate it all. Obviously, you only need to concentrate on the first 3 If a stranger listens to your song and they love words, then you need to make them quite clear and flowing for it to mean anything to the majority, and that is who you are aiming for.
It's been said that I have Murderous eyes.

OK stop recording in subway stations. Check.Get it broadcast quality. Will do. Add an instrument. Percussion, violin, Rhodes piano? This wasn't stated specially, but I am hearing you say that:only a New Yorker would find the words interesting; or the words are too mumbled to understand; or the melody is too dull to keep listening to what the words have to say.It reminded me of was Bruce Springsteen's "Philadelphia." Especially with the nat sound.Any other comments?---Nicholas
