Placement #32 on Y&R!!

Yesterday, I had my 32nd placement on The Young and the Restless (CBS). My first one was back in 2017. (I'm neurotic enough to keep a spreadsheet log ). This is due to a long relationship with a Taxi friendly library, started WAY WAY back in time from a forward.

Of the 5 songs involved, 4 were co-written/produced by fellow Taxi members. I wrote the other one myself but it was produced by a fellow member and sung by another one. Get to know other members! Collaborate! See what others are doing. What are their strengths vs. needs? What are yours? Reach out to people. Meet them at the rally.

Actually the spreadsheet came in handy once when there was a cue sheet error and I never got paid for a placement. I was able to resolve it through the publisher. So now I am meticulous about just in case that happens again. Y&R placements pay really good backend. Missing one would be non-trivial, not like a typical reality TV show background cue. #OCDNeuroticsRule!
