Placement on ABC

Just got a check from my publisher for a placement on ABC's "Happy Endings!" My song "Chase It Down" was used in episode 8 "The Girl With The David Tattoo."
To be honest, I'd never heard of the show, and when I saw the show title on the check I thought it may have been a porno :lol:

The check was for a "needle-drop" play on the episode. I watched the episode online and did not hear my song, unless it went by so quick I missed it ;) But I'm guessing, the show pays a flat fee to use the song once and then replaces it for reruns and plays on the web, thus eliminating paying back end. Just my guess.

Thank you everyone. I re-watched the episode on Hulu. The first time I didn't hear my song. The second time I could barely hear it. It's in the very first scene while the group is talking at a bar/restaurant, it's playing in the background, barely audible, but it's there. Playing for quite some time! Pretty exciting for me :D
