Hi Suzanne
I think this is a very pretty piece of music and appropriate for the listing. My one criticism is that the piano sound is a little 'dark.' By that I mean that it's a little muddy sounding. Is there anyway you can give the whole track a high-boost to give it a bit of air?
It's a really nice tune.
Best wishes
Mark

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this Josh.
I'm using EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Gold for the string samples. I played the quartet pieces as individual takes (i.e., not as keyboard chords).

Hi Suzanne,
thanks for posting as this listing really confused me! I love your music and the string arrangement is just superb.
As I'm now cynical about all submissions I would say that it will be returned because it's not quirky or playful enough. It's got a haunting quality with the gravitas of the strings, but they veer towards the mainstream, Disney type, rather than leftfield.
There you go, I've stuck my neck out there and sincerely hope I'm wrong! Please let us know either way and I hope you get a forward as it's a really lovely track.
All the best
Gary

Hi Suzanne,
Like others, I think it is very pretty. To me it does sound a bit mature though....more for young teenagers or a lifetime movie type situation. .....They probably use this type of music all the time for children things though truth be told.
To make it sound younger, you might consider putting a bell part on top of the piano. I am thinking on 1, every other measure, a
nice delicate two note chord. It might help balance out the seriousness of the strings.

Also, just a FYI if you have Direct TV, the baby network is now FREE and might be a resource for mastering the style.
Regardless, it's still real pretty....and probably works as is.
Best of luck with your submission
