Hey Fam. So here's the deal I have three versions of the same song in a Dropbox folder and I'm trying to see which on is the best. It's supposed to be a acoustic guitar feature so I don't want the piano to overtake it. But when I take it out I feel like something is missing. If you have some time I would greatly appreciate you take a listen and tell me what you think. Below is the listing. and here is the link to the DB folder.

INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by an International Music Library with lots of great placements in Film and TV.
This Library is looking for several Instrumentals (and/or Cues) in the general stylistic ballpark of the following references:
"Happy & Fun Acoustic Background Music" by MorningLightMusic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjiPVmAZPDU
"Inspirational Acoustic" by AShamaluevMusic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAoL-dIND_Q
"Happy As the Sun" by Tyrone Wells https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akyk0q7NPxE
Please submit positive-sounding Instrumentals and/or Cues that feature acoustic guitar and are full of uplifting sounds and motifs. Your submissions should have happy melodies, engaging rhythms, emotionally upbeat chord progressions, solid arrangements, and lots of positive energy. Instrumentation should include acoustic guitar as the featured instrument, and additional instrumentation (such as drums, bass, shakers, tambourine, mallets, etc) in the general wheelhouse of the references will work best. Please be sure that your productions and any virtual instruments or samples you use are very high-quality and modern. Guitar performances should sound like the real deal!
Your submissions should be roughly 1.5 minutes long for Cues, and about 2 to 4 minutes long for Instrumentals, give or take. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Please do NOT copy the referenced artists or songs in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Do NOT submit any material with unauthorized samples of any other artists’ music, sounds, or any other form of media. Broadcast Quality is needed.

I worked - a little - on this listing, but don't have anything to submit. Due tomorrow night, yes?
I like your FULL mix, but to be spot on with the listing and the ref tracks the guitar cannot 'bow out' when the piano enters. A little playful back-and-forth, or adding layers, would be OK just as long as the guitar remains the featured instrument. JM2C
Good luck with it!

Re: PLEASE REVIEW!! Too much Guitar Or Not Enough??
Yes sir thanks. Just about to get back in the lab. Thank you for that. I'm going to use that and do a little cat and mouse on it. Thanks for the feedback. I probably won't have time to repost the edited as yes it is tonight. But I'm going to definitely post it anyway and see what you think of the final result.AlanHall wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 3:04 pmI worked - a little - on this listing, but don't have anything to submit.
