Post holiday forwards
Wow! It's been a mad time over the holidays, haven't had time to postr anything to the forum. BUT.. things are quieter now and I like to post up forwards.. it's nice to share. Hope everyones had a good holiday by the way. I've had some returns over the past few weeks, but stuff I kind of thought I might get returned.. long shots...The stuff I was almost sure about got forwarded, which is good.A song I wrote for my old punk band was forwarded to:Y081204TVROCK CUES (SONGS AND INSTRUMENTALS) NEEDED for a couple of new reality shows slated to air on the world's largest music cable network. The Music Supervisor for these shows needs to hear a variety of "gritty rock" - styles can range from Rockabilly, Punk, Swamp Rock, Metal, Southern Rock, etc. The pace needs to be fast and the tone should be wacky, high energy, dirty and fun. You can think in the reference range of Black Flag, Hank Williams III, Suicidal Tendencies, Reverend Horton Heat, Social Distortion, Minutemen, etc.and 3 instrumental, especially recorded for this listing were forwarded to:Y081219ININSPIRATIONAL AND UPLIFTING INSTRUMENTALS in all styles are needed by a great Production Music Library/Publisher that has signed tons of TAXI members over the years, and has made money for many. These Instrumentals can be lush orchestral arrangements, simple/acoustic piano or guitar pieces, lilting/playful Alt Country/Singer-Songwriter tracks, etc. The only absolute must is that the overall tone is very inspiring, heartwarming and light. Think of a commercial where children are laughing, a couple is holding hands and walking along the side of a lake, a baby is playing and giggling with a grandparent, etc. - these pieces need to reflect a warm and glowing mood to support visual scenes of this nature. Tracks should ideally be between :60 and 3 minutes in length ......if anyone wants to hear the music, go to my page http://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.p ... philipsand check outFresh Polakia (Instrumental)Romandia (Instrumental)Away From Home (Instrumental)
