Horror Forward -- Braced

Post by zoom » Thu Oct 16, 2008 6:02 am

Woo hoo! Only 1 out of 3, but that's better than nothin'! Here are the links....http://www.taxi.com/patellwein -- BRACED is the titleor download here... http://www.taximusic.com/download/17524 ... R/SUSPENSE INSTRUMENTALS are needed immediately by the Executive Producer and Music Supervisor for an Indie Horror Film set to be released in the next month. They’re in urgent need of some great instrumentals that sound terrifying, nerve-wracking, intense, suspenseful, etc. They’re open to all styles and approaches, but will be especially interested in the climactic build from suspense/tension to horrific momentum. Instrumentation is open, but try to keep these between 1:00-3:00 in length. Feel free to include “freaky” sound effects, as long as they’re tastefully mixed into the rest of the instrumentation - so as not to interfere with the natural sounds of the scene. This film is set in a remote cabin, with a group of twenty-somethings battling for their lives - there will be a good amount of “stabbing” and “chasing through the woods” scenes, to give you a hint of the storyline and tone. Performances need to be excellent and the recordings should definitely be Broadcast Quality (great home recordings should be fine). Please submit one to three tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI

Hey Zoom, i am busily nursing my wound of getting REJECTED on this one think yours sounds great, however, much better than mine was - i can just picture the whole chasing through the woods scenario. i think it's a great combination of orchestral and electronic elements, two thumbs up!

Congrats Zoom! I got one for this two . . . maybe they'll use both. Tell ya what, if they do I'll fly up to MN and treat you to the movie (and I'll even spring for the popcorn!)
