Re: Guitar Amp/FX simulators
I haven't heard any mention of Amp Farm. Many engineering-type people I highly regard have told me it's the best.

Re: Guitar Amp/FX simulators
POD Farm, mentioned above, is the upgrade for Amp Farm.Quote:Line 6 has ended development on any new versions of the Amp Farm TDM plug-in. You will still be able to use Amp Farm TDM with Pro Tools® 8 and earlier versions of Pro Tools software, and now you can continue the recording revolution started by Amp Farm with the new Line 6 POD Farm™ Platinum plug-in (RTAS® for Mac and Windows).

Re: Guitar Amp/FX simulators
If you ask the same question about bass players, the answer is:None, the keyboard player will do it with his left hand! Does the Waves stuff model effects too? I haven't looked. I'm also looking for some stompbox modeling, which both the Line6 and Peavey seem to do along with amps and cabinets.Cheers!!Mazz

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

While we're recycling old jokes waiting for Mazz to tell me (correctly, as always) what plugin to get, how many country bass players does it take to screw in a light bulb? One Five One Five ...ah, nevermind.
Earplugs may be required for anyone over the age of cool.
