Re: Which EZ Drummer expansion kits?
I've been messing with DfH for two nights. Yes!! I can't wait to post my over-the-top trials in peer to peer hehehe.Except my legs are sore now (from standing in the studio...I broke the chair throwing it around the room "a-la BFlat style" and there's no-where left to sit down...)

I got Nashville ad Claustrophobic. Both awsome but for very different reasons. I order Vintage through the 2 for 1 deal and can't wait. I'm wondering, did anyone give the ne FUNKMASTERS a try?

Alrighty Gang...here's my first pass on a real song.It will eventually be called "Gravity Always Wins", as I'm targetting those X-Games and extreme sports listings. You may have to wait a second for the download to finish. This is the dfh, and I don't know who is more excited:- Me, to finally have some heavier drum sounds that can go above 150 bpm- Terry, my 20+ year collaborator and guitar sensi, who's been sitting on this song for 2 months waiting for me to catch up- Big Blue, because he knows how much help I need on drums!!! Thanks Barry, this tune is 100% for you:www.thepondstudio.ca/K&S011009.mp3

Great Stuff Devin, drums and gits are quite heavy indeed... Nice compostion, lots of motion and changes; should be an instant forward for an extreme listing.Only suggestion I'd make is to add more of a bass line than just the double 1/8th note hits at the start of a measure. Something that hooks up with the kick pattern.I ordered the latin perc EZX on my 2 fer 1 deal. You're making me wish I'd done the dfh kit now; guess I'll have to pop for that one too. Oh well it's only money; when it's gone I'll go get some more....

Not to worry TB, the bank has lots of money!I've been noodling around with a bass part...I think once I add that, I'm going to leave it as just the three pieces. Bare bones and nasty!I haven't mailed in my form yet....I'm thinking Claustrophobic, but that Latin one is tempting me...and the Twisted Kit is trying to call my name too....oh dang, where's that bank again?!?

Track would sound killer under some Satch-style shredding, too. Agree about the bassline, and the drums is tight..
