Maybe talk to a techie at your local guitar shop.Do you own a Tele? If it's a vintage one, and you decide to modify it, it will lower the value a lot.If you DON'T own a Tele, the only Fender that might sound like a Tele is a Bronco. It's got one pickup and a tremolo bar. They were made between '67 and '80. There's a couple on eBay.Good Luck! Ern

Bigsby makes a kit now for Teles and other guitars. You can find Youtube videos on installing them. Here's linkhttp://www.theguitarfiles.com/modules.ph....ro ... =2777Happy Whamming! Elser

Kahler makes a flat-mount cam-style trem for Les Pauls, I believe it works for Teles, too. Bigsbys were a factory option at one point, but they don't do dive bombs, they're best for giving chords a subtle shimmy or half-step pedal-steel style bends. Stetsbar also made one, don't know if they're still in business.

Not exactly the same as what whammy bars do. But they are more precise and not as likely to put your whole guitar out of tune. Then again, mostly country guys use these...http://stringbender.com/bender/fenderb. ... no=0118342

For tremelo I usually just put one foot on the body and yank the neck back and forth, don't you?................(ducking the rotten tomatoes thrown by angry guitarists!) Actually I don't play guitar at all but I sure love the sound of a Tele. If someone gets a tremelo on one, I'd love to hear what it sounds like!!!
