funky Tuner in Logic

Post by anne » Sun Sep 21, 2008 3:23 am

I have a tuner issue in Logic 8 - the built in tuner stopped working. The tracks are enabled for recording, I have a fine signal and can record, but the tuner on the insert strip shows no key note and has no response.Any ideas? Anybody else have this happen?

Anne, I hope I'm not speaking out of turn since I'm not a Logic user but I do know that most plug-ins have a bypass function. Could it be that the bypass button got pushed accidentally?Good luck!Mazz

if it were only that .... I found the problem under "settings/tuner". Somehow it was set to User scale, with no scale entered. Seems to be working fine now that I set it back to the default. Today's task is to work on all the little buggy things like this in my setup so that I can learn just what is working correctly or not. More specifically, learn what I know how to work correctly, or not

I use Logic myself so this is quite useful to know. Thanks! I've have wondered about that myself before.
