Triggering samples via MIDI was my only option before I acquired an audio interface and a nice bass. Even though I'm primarily a guitarist, I still find Slayer to be useful for certain textures...

I hear ya...bass and guitar were my only options until I acquired a MIDI controller and software synth I love some of the sounds I hear in loops and samples but I don't use them enough to remember what to go to for what application. I suppose if I spent more time with them they'd improve my work instead of holding it up. Maybe if they were named with "a la's" like Taxi listings (i.e. Bleeding Gums Murphy Sax, Bugs Bunny String Section, etc. etc.)

In your case, I suggest ordering the DVD for the cost of shipping, 9 bucks US: http://www.yellowtools.us/cp21/cms/inde ... =842You'll probably get it faster anyway! Mazz

Good advice! But my house doesn't have a mailbox and my dog has eaten several parcels that the postman left attached to the gate. Maybe I'll get it faster but all chewed up when I finally see it and my dog with a mischievious look on his face. Something like; you think "I" did that? Pish Posh.

For some reason, when I download it, it installs, but when I load it up - it can't seem to find the library.... very frustrating.

Go back and look at the instructions, I think you have to put the library in the "root folder" for the application to find it. I'm not finished downloading the library yet, I'll see if I can get it working later today.Mazz
