Do I need an external hard drive?

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I've gone with Glyph drives. They seem to be the "Gold Standard" for music applications.I've also heard some good things about LaCie DrivesChuck

I'm doin' okay with Seagate Barracuda series drives, YMMV...
