Logic Pro users Help Please!!
Being fairly new to Logic Pro,I am getting to know the basics but I have encountered a problem that I just can't find the answer for.For no obvious reason,on some tracks, audio or virtual I get a jump in volume. When I return the track to the original volume when the song reaches the same point in the song the volume jumps again.I should say there is no automation on any of the tracks in the song.Any help would be appreciated.Michael.

Re: Logic Pro users Help Please!!
May I help? Do you see a volume slider moving, at the point where you are hearing the jump on volume? Is that volume control, a fader for a master, or group, or an individual track?Does this only happen with one song/template?Have you ever used Hyper draw? Sometimes it leaves little bits of info behind, written onto a track's audio file. But you say it's also happening with virtual tracks as well. That would lead me to believe that the data is on a group or master fader. don't know what else to ask yet...but it'll get solved pretty quickly I think Steve Jun 28, 2008, 10:18pm, michael11 wrote:Being fairly new to Logic Pro,I am getting to know the basics but I have encountered a problem that I just can't find the answer for.For no obvious reason,on some tracks, audio or virtual I get a jump in volume. When I return the track to the original volume when the song reaches the same point in the song the volume jumps again.I should say there is no automation on any of the tracks in the song.Any help would be appreciated.Michael.

Hi Michael,I don't use or know Logic but in general, most DAWs allow you to show or hide automation data. Is it possible that you've inadvertently chosen to hide CC7 (MIDI volume) data on this track?Good luck!Mazz

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!
