Endorphin is well worth downloading. I use it regularly and it compares favorably with some of the professional audio ware I have. Another good source of free plug-ins is the very well-regarded Classic line from Kjaerhaus Audio. Their EQ, mastering limiter, chorus, compressor and reverb have all found a home in my VST folder.Downloads from:http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.phpI've got a commission to write and record music for a production of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" later this month and have used the reverb and compressor quite a bit in producing the song demos. Oh yeah, I use the kjaerhusaudio classic compressor on bass & acoustic guitars all the time. their reverb sounds good when you get it set up properly but I've found that it takes a lot of tweaking, that said, a lot of "tweaking" options are usually pretty rare unless you're paying some bucks.
