I just got a tune forwarded. The only thing is, I just signed exclusive rights to it to another library. If I am contacted by the library it was just forwarded to (hey, if one likes it, maybe the other one will too!) do I tell them I can write other things like it? This seems to be the standard tactic.Mewman

Hey - congratz and that's definitely a great position to be in .I would definitely parlay that particular song being signed into opportunities with the new library if (and hopefully when) you're contacted. They'll obviously see that you're on mark with your composing!Best of luck,Dave

Thanks everyone. I wish I could afford to attend the Rally this year. I was there last year but hadn't discovered the Forum yet. I'm sure the experience would be fantastic now that I have all you guys to meet. Unfortunately, I really can't afford it this year. Oh well, maybe next time.Mewman
