Submit, forward, now what?

Post by santa » Fri Sep 19, 2008 5:44 am

Hi, I'm new to TAXI. I submitted my first song and I'm happy to report I got a forward. Just wondering what are the next steps after that. This was a Dispatch listing. I got a message from TAXI saying that the song got forwarded to what seems to be some on-line music library. Is it just wait and maybe hear back some day from this point? Thanks.

Yes. You wait for them to contact you. It might be today, it might be next year, it might be never.Keep writing and submitting and don't dwell too much on any forwards you get.And congratulations on the forward!-Steve

Thanks.Congrats on the forward! It's definitely "wait and see" - no one can say if and when you'll be contacted. However, that doesn't mean you hang on to the forwarded piece. You keep submitting it, with confidence, because you know that it is at the right level
