My Roland GR20 has a couple of patches that are fiddle as opposed to violin, and come off pretty authentic when played on the guitar synth, has the feels of slide and gliss and vibrato. My Fantom has a similar patch that sounds ok on the keys.ArkJack

Hi MartinI haven't used it yet, but Quantum leaps "Gypsy" sounds like it could work. Fiddle vs violin is all about articulation and the heavy use of double stops. The automated legato feature of the violin in Gypsy sounds like it could work quite well for fiddle tunes.Mewman
