Not So EZ drummer Help please.

Having installed EZ Drummer on my machine a few months ago and I read the manual,inside out upside down and from front to back I've aaahemmmm forgotton Here's the question?????Do I open a new instance of EZ Drummer on a new track every time I want to change a grooveEG: do I have a Rim groove on one track,snare groove on another and fills on another?

Time to get back in the bathroom for some reading! EZ drummer has a bunch of grooves associated with it and the grooves are MIDI files that are dragged into MIDI tracks (by you) with outputs assigned to EZ drummer.Every drum in EZ drummer has a MIDI note (well, several of them but that's another story) assigned to it so you only need one instance of EZ drummer open and the MIDI notes in the track will take care of the rim, snare, etc.To try this out, you can open an instance of EZ drummer, assign your controller to its input and start banging away. You'll hear the instruments being triggered, which instrument is triggered depends on which key you are playing.Hopefully that little tutorial will inspire you to go back and get your manual out!Good luck!Mazz

The problem was,the change in levels of the different loops it just occurred to me I could use my onboard automation.Thanks again,Michael
