I'd like to second what Mazz said, it is tons of work tweaking everything to get it to sound as realistic as possible. Also that it does take work getting to know each library to get the most out of it. Brindabella, I also use Sonar and find it helps tremendously to use the Synth Rack's 'show assigned controls' button. Just right click and you can assign a control to one of your VI's parameters. Set remote control for whichever midi controller you will use, enable recording then twist controller knobbies as much as you like. That being said, I usually take several passes over the section I am editing, affecting only one parameter at a time. I don't play that well so it usually takes a couple of overdubs. The parameter I always 'set up' or tweak is Volume. Sometimes I'll automate the Filter Env Attack or Amp Env Decay to help with expression. I'd use keyswitching if I knew how. I just set up the different articulation on a separate channel simultaneously.- daniel

Hey thanks, Daniel! I copied that to notepad. It sure takes a lot of time and reading, and I dont have that much free time qand get overwhelmed with all the reading. And some people think Midi is easy!
