WOO HOO! 3 Forwards for eXtreme Sports!

Post by bigbluebarry » Mon Sep 08, 2008 3:10 pm

EXTREME SPORTS INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a great Production Music Library/Publisher that has signed tons of TAXI members over the years, and has made money for many of them. Think X Games, motocross, skateboarding, BMX, etc. Guitar-based Rock, Power Pop and Punk are typically good bets for this type of opportunity Ð Joe Satriani, Avril Lavign and Blink 182. Tracks should ideally run between :60 and 3 minutes in length. Broadcast quality is needed here - excellent home recordings will work. Their deal is typically an exclusive agreement with a 5-year reversion clause. Please submit one to three tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than August 11, 2008. TAXI #Y080811INI had the following songs get forwarded:Blindsided - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueTry This On For Size - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... =trueWe're Almost Home - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueWOO HOO!!!! This has been a great day for me... When I got home, there was a birthday check and a check from a client in the mail, a new guitar and a new pre-amp sitting at the front door, and an email from TAXI in my inbox telling me I got 3 forwards! Tom... thanks and Congrats to you as well! Chuck... I know what you mean! I got a Schecter C-1 Artist Limited Edition 6-string. Here's a pic:This is gonna be my "metal" guitar. So far, I've been having to use my Tele to do my tracking, including the songs that got forwarded for this listing. But now I've got me some Seymour Duncan humbuckers ready to tear it up! I've already tuned it up, or should I say, tuned it down... to Drop C... let the brutality begin!

Barry,Humbuckers are a good thing!! Unfortunately, I've bought into the idea of a "cast of characters" with my ever expanding guitar collection. (at least that's how I justify a new purchase) Chuck
