This is my first time posting in the forum so I hope I'm in the right place . I just bounced a piece I'm ready to submit to a listing. I have Logic Audio 7.0 and selected the 196 kbps rate for my MP3, which I'll be downloading to the Taxi hosting site. Should I use the optional Variable Bit Rate encoding, or leave it off? I've enjoyed reading the different strings in the forum. I flew out to the road rally this year from Montreal and really enjoyed myself. One of the messages I got loud and clear was to take advantage of all the great info available here. Thank you.

Re: VBR encoded MP3s
I would leave this turned off. Without going into a technical ramble, let's just say that turning it on won't help and leaving it turned off won't hurt.
