educational pricing

Post by shawnstonesifer » Sat Jun 16, 2007 10:31 am

Has anyone experienced educational pricing for east/west or waves products? I mean seriously, if I'm going to save 40 or 60 percent, I'd join community college to get those discounts. I guess what I mean isAre those educational prices or educational versions?

Make sure you check with their upgrade policy before buying. Some companies limit your upgrade path if you buy using an educational discount. I've seen that somewhere but I can't remember the company. Also I've noticed that most products are full products not educational versions but again, check it out first if possible.Read the fine print and good luck.Mazz

Yeah, that's what I was guessing. I'm sure if there were limitations they would say so.

Some of the products I've seen use educational discount for the institution or an instructor and you wouldn't qualify just by being a student. But hey, you might learn something useful.
