Some recordings of great performances require more work to listen to depending on when they were recorded.A lot of over-compressed modern music is, for me, a lot of work to listen to more than once. The performances may be great but I'm totally drained after being pounded by a flatlined square wave song after song. I think this trend is slowly changing though, thank god. I agree. I disagree. I don't think there was one person who said this is a great song. Perhaps you could read the posts more instead of looking for a scrap.It is undeniably a great recording, of a mediocre song.
