Recommendations for Electronica loops/phrases?

This question is posed to the Electronica crowd... the "Zircons" of the forum. Any suggestions for some good loop/phrases libraries that are focused on the uptempo "ala Crystal Method" Electronica genre? I need to do some exploring. TIA,Dave

Dave,While I don't do as much of this type of music (right now anyway) I've had success using the Chemical Beats and Chemical Synths refills. Also the Noizbox Stylus expander from Ilio has quite a bit of material in this vein. Crystal Method is also one of my favs in this genre.Good luck,John

Dave,I've had this collection for a short time. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UVIMayhem/Works as a VST plug in in SONAR. It has a dreaded dongle.You drop and drag the phrases into an audio track. I haven't spent enough time with the collection to evaluate the consistency etc. But for $99 I thought I'd find something useful.This is a piece I recently did with these loops. For drums, Stylus RMX will give you a very large palette, but then again, what's new? You'll find the Sound Menus also have some gritty melodic stuff as well.I picked up "RAW Universal Groove Kit" from Sonic Reality late last year and I've found it to be fairly useful. The majority of the material (which comes in WAV/REX form) is average but usable, and given the massive quantity of organized stuff (~5000 loops) you are bound to find at least a few outstanding sounds. The guitar stuff is particularly good. I wish there were more of it. I've also heard good things about "Adrenaline" which is now pretty discounted, it's one of those Kompakt-based player products from SoundsOnline. I think you will like that one.Generally speaking... the trick to TCM style sounds is a combination of "bubbling" synth lines and very clean but heavy drum parts, along with assorted vocal and instrumental pieces. For the synth stuff, you might consider the new "Predator" VST synth which is actually specifically designed for modern electronic dance music (including breakbeat/dnb) and has something like 1,000 presets. I've used it myself and I gotta say it's wonderful. As it has a gate/arpeggiator, some of the patches can create an entire synth line w/ no sequencing needed on your part.
