Hey Vikki, that's great news! I think a really important point here about your success level in forwards really has to do with an understanding of what the listing is actually looking for. It seems to be the biggest pitfall for most people. Their tracks are good, but it just didn't fit that particular listing.Congrats on your forwards!Steve

I have a similar strategy to yours for submitting songs. I have submitted to ten listings since June of this year, and I have four forwards. I plan on writing as much as I can, and hopefully, I will begin to see the benefits of my hard work in a few years. The boards are great because the advice here is often very good, and those who regularly read the posts (especially the "newbies" like me) can save themselves a lot of time and frustration. The "it's not the music, it's the listing" quote has been repeated here many times, and it's so true. A great track submitted to the wrong listing will not be forwarded. Just as you said, I continue to write and learn. A very inspiring post! Thanks for taking the time to share with us.Brad
