Whew! Glad to hear you're okay, Ted. And sorry about that dang electrical wackiness! Definitely sounds like big nudging. Get to Nashville, get to Nashville. And hey, Silmarwren, if you've got a melody cooking for the backwards co-written song, go for it! If you want to post it here (or PM me and email it to me and I can post it for you), then we can see who wants to add in to shaping the music part.I'm glad to throw in some piano playing and such -- but if someone's got a hankering to come up with music, jump on in!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY! Suz

Hey guys n gals;Silmarwren is going to email me her melody soon; I'll add a rough piano part and post it to see if anyone wants to join in the music-i-fication of the lyrics.Meanwhile, is anyone interested in doing a final edit/ polish of the lyrics?? I think it will be fun to go ahead and make this into a finish co-op kind of song. Thanks!Suz

Yahoo! Here' s a link to the MP3 Elisabeth from Denmark made of a possible melody line for the world famous Taxi forum co-written backwards song:http://www.suzdoyle.com/musings/taxicowrite1.MP3If you want to add instruments to it, tinker with the melody, or tag on a chorus, just nab it, grab it, and add to it it . . . then post here as a downloadable MP3 so we can continue to play with this (or email me directly so I can post it for you) . . . Yay! This is fun!Suz

Yay, this IS so much fun! Oh, and I pronounced the word "pinto" wrong: I wasn´t sure how it was pronounced so I asked Suz and she cleared it up for me (and was really sweet about it) , lol. So bear with me......

Very cool!I think this song needs to get recorded and then submitted to some listings. Of course when it gets placed with a publisher and becomes a hit the royalties will have be split like 17 ways

Good idea, RPittleman; Are you up to recording this by any chance? I'm taking some personal time away from composing for a short time to help a family member, so would welcome someone taking this song to the next level. Thanks!Suz
