Later on, I might be (for example) looking for chord pattern for a bridge, a chorus, or something. Sometimes with key changes I can glue things together. The chorus in "Painfully Single" is a chord pattern from a song I had written many years prior, transposed to fit. The bridge in "Physical World" came from another song. BTW, the bridge in "Physical World" is my favorite part.Not comparing myself to them at all, but Lennon & McCartney were great at this- stringing together pieces from each of them such as in "We Can Work It Out" and "The Two Of Us".Don't throw anything away!
