Hey, Suz...thanks for that link to the website. I'm always wondering 'what I'm forgetting' now I can just go through the list and say, 'oh, I remember that now.' I guess Gene, Leonard Nimoy and the Shat should have started a band.Steve, you ought to post that You Tube on Ted's smoking thread too...I'm betting he'd like it. Good stuff.Chuck, interesting fact about the Flintstones and Gershwin. And Mazz....ah, The Andy Griffith Show....one of the best tv shows ever and probably the most memorable theme as well. My Three Sons is another theme that won't be forgotten as well.

Why does any phrase from you mentioning your husband, remind me of Hall & Oates? Yeah..... or Faith Hill My absolute favourite is this:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AepyGm9Me6wLiam

Velma's uncle's name? Dave Walton! Seriously. Don't ask me how that got in there. Plus it's the only name where they refer to first and last name.

That's cool, Dave, about Scooby Do and Velma's Uncle having your name. I'll confess that my little sister watched Scooby Do more than I did, so I'm prone to forget a lot of the character's names.BTW, here's another good theme from the television comedy, Taxi. Of course, we all know another entity by that name:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDj2-tgAauw

Oh I had to come back and post these two, I'm not a fan of (too much) TV but these two got me running for a place on the settee when I was growing up. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=huPdTlNtk ... Coronation Street http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6Fa-Hzvn0 ... tendersI'm not sure Britain would mean the same thing to me if ever I found out they'd scrapped these two beauties!

Not exactly a rippin' theme song, but definitely my favorite tv show when I was a tot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nur_fWvG4MMYou probably can tell I was heavily influenced from all of the morally cripple values espoused in the theme song.
