Re: 1st Forward (Minimalist Piano)
Yea I played it 1 whole take (1 of bout 150). I didnt use midi edting, I think it can take away from the natural feel of a piece. The time keeping is not the mistake I was talking about though. I brushed off two bass notes just as it goes into the high register near the end. I thought it might go unnoticed though! Oooops!

I love the 1546 progression with your original melody - it works very well in a minimal piano setting and you broke out of it gracefully and went back in gracefully. You should have a cover version of U2's With or Without You sung over the main progression and change the piano melody a bit to suit the vocals and add strings but keep it minimal. It would be super hot.

Congrats on your piece. Love the song and love the Ivory!

Re: 1st Forward (Minimalist Piano)
Thanks vleon! Yea I suppose the two songs would go well together...there's just one small problem, I absolutely DESPISE Bono, his voice and everyting about him! While I do like one or two of his songs, I couldn't record them without thinking of him, and I couldn't stand thinking of him for 2-3 hours...so I can't see that happening! Good suggestion though!
