Old Crowe Medicine Show Doing Dylan

Post by jchitty » Wed Jul 16, 2008 4:52 am

This is such a great group....I saw them in concert not too long ago, and they brought the house down. I'll admit they don't sound as good on this video, but I posted this You Tube to show their varied style. Their CD "Big Iron World" is wonderful mix of Dylan, Woody Guthrie, blues, country, bluegrass, folk with even a little Kingston Trio thrown in. These guys learned from some of the masters like Doc Watson too:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-zFi9qt ... re=related

For a more polished sound of theirs (if that's what you prefer), this video is fantastic, "Down Home Girl":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJhlM6W4uhk"Well, every time you shake it baby, I got to go to Sunday mass."
